Cat dad discovers his sweet orange feline is the leader of a secret criminal crew that meets daily in his attic: 'She belonged there'

This is just a typical Wednesday for your average orange cat who hungers for mischief and thirsts for chaos.

If you want something outrageously cute, but hissterically unpredictable in your life, get an orange cat. They will never fail you in these regards.

There's a running joke about orange cats that they all share one collective brain cell, and each orange cat who doesn't have the brain cell is just running on instincts and a purrre drive for shenanigans. That being said, they're also some of the most loving cats we've ever met. All you need to take care of an orange cat is some food, a big heart, and a lot of patience.

The food part is crucial, because many of them are food motivated, which is what makes the start of our story below so intriguing. A cat dad started to get worried when his clementine-colored kitty didn't show up for breakfast one meowrning, so he started looking for her. He heard some noises coming from above him, and realized that the shuffling and scratching noises were coming from the attic. He climbed the stairs, poked his head through, and found not only his fluffy feline, but a 5-creature crew of tiny criminals that had taken up residence in his attic. More than that, the fuzzy felons seemed to be treating his cat like their leader.

Well, to be fair, they probably were having a meeting. The cat was telling them that they didn't reach their stealing quota from yesterday, and they would have to work extra hard in order to make up for lost time. They might even have been planning a heist from the Louvre. You can never predict what an orange cat will do (probably because they don't even know until they've already done it).

As a fellow homeowner, we get why he had the attic sealed. As cute as those raccoons were, there's no way we'd let them set up purrmanent camp in our attic. That's just asking for trouble. Maybe they can have scheduled playdates outside, though. Then the cat won't be sad, and the crew will be all back together again!
